The property had once been our site office when constructing the project 168 Upperstreet for Aria. The mixed use building had been used for residential and storage for our client Aria. Works required complete strip out with temporary propping to restrain the existing brick walls as structural alterations were undertaken and a full refurbishment carried out. Excavations were carried out, to conduct underpinning with the installation of new steel structure for supporting alterations above.  A gas main running through the property  was removed and basement passage was discovered while undertaking demolition of the stairs. It is understood to have been access leading to the parade of shops
along upperstreet. New window’s added to south and western elevations with WINCOS Vision Control Film applied to satisfy restrictive planning conditions.
