Our works comprise of cautiously undoing years of renovations and exposing the buildings structural core. Alterations then carried out to enable the design objectives of Neil Dusheiko Architects.
Originally built in the 1840s, the home has been sensitively modernized while preserving its period charm. Key improvements include an open-plan kitchen requiring the removal of structural load bearing walls in the lower ground floor and removal of the roof to reform the upper terrace into a striking rooftop pavilion. A gloomy lightwell was transformed into an inviting outdoor dining space, bespoke stairs lead to the revamped top floor, featuring a sleek zinc-clad extension with a terrace. The project seamlessly blending historic elegance with contemporary design.
